Al Jazeera English has spoken exclusively to Fatemeh Mohajerani, spokesperson for the Iranian government, who says Iran has delivered “extremely devastating blows” to the United States and Israel amid escalating hostilities.
Mohajerani describes the confrontation as a war in which both sides have struck and been struck. She acknowledges what she calls “painful blows”, including the killing of senior military officials and civilians.
